Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic (caused by the new coronavirus), patients with respiratory symptoms can be assessed over the phone. If you are ill but have no respiratory symptoms, you can, of course, still make an appointment online. All other patients are still welcome too.
Please note: Due to the current shortage of test kits, only specific groups will be tested for the coronavirus: (1) severely ill patients who need hospitalisation and (2) patients who are active in the healthcare sector and have both a respiratory infection and a fever.
At-risk groups (those over 65, lung/heart/kidney/liver patients, and people with diabetes or a compromised immune system) need to follow the same guidelines as everybody else: HAND HYGIENE. For them, too, testing and staying home from work preventively are not necessary.
Pregnant women and small children are not at risk. Studies have shown no complications in these groups.
